The
Museum showcases the human and natural history of British
Columbia through three (3) principal galleries
especially designed to provide authentic settings (through
various dioramas), as follows:
- The
Natural History
Gallery where one
can "travel" back in time to the last Ice Age of British
Columbia and "return" to the current
ecosystem.
- First
Peoples Gallery
where the history of British Columbia's first nations is
presented with stories of triumph, tragedy and survival
through collections of various artifacts.
- The
Modern History
Gallery where the
growth of British Columbia's industrial society is being
recreated from the 1700s to the 1970s.
In addition, the Museum features
periodic exhibitions.
